• Album "Lituus". 2003 year.

This CD presents the music that was played when Belarus was part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. You can listen to the works from the Ostrometchevo Music Book (also known as Polatski Tetrad') and the Vilnya Tabulatura (both compiled in the XVII century), as well as to the music written by the sixteenth century Polish and French composers.
The compositions are arranged by the ensemble musicians and played with an original combination of instruments – a soprano, tenor and bass blockflutes, a guitar, a triangle and a drum. All the melodies demonstrate the unique style of the musical “foundations” of European art.
Belarusian music, its organic and inalienable part, is the land of subtle, tasteful and charmingly beauteous tunes. The sounds of Belarusian music are at once original and congenial to the musical palette of the European continent.
